Slowly, the fuzziness faded away and Harry got a bit more of a sense of his surroundings. "What happened?" he asked as he sat up.
Snape gave him a once-over. "It seems like you bested the bad guys."
Harry could only remember hexes and lights. "How did I get here?"
"Peterson regained consciousness and called for help. You deliriously requested to be brought here."
"I did?"
"You did. And since you're lucid again, I'd like you to know that I drew your name in the department's Secret Santa. You may consider me nursing you back to health as your gift."

Harry was still confused as to what had happened out in the field, but he remembered making a promise to himself. He just didn't know how to begin. "Well, thank you for everything. I better get out of your hair now."
"Don't Disparate, Potter. Too dangerous on your head – you'd just knock yourself out again. Best use the Floo to –"
"Attention all Ministry employees and visitors!" A bodiless voice suddenly sounded through the room. "A blizzard broke out in the Department of Mysteries. Everyone is required to search for cover in a secure room until the matter is contained."
