Harry had arrived early and had hovered around the shop until Snape had closed up for the night. Together, they had Apparated close to Hyde Park and walked towards Winter Wonderland. Meanwhile, Harry searched for topics to talk about.
"How was your day then?"
"Pleasantries, Potter? I think not."
"So I'm not supposed to ask you how Christmas season has treated you so far, either?"
"No," Snape said, as they manoeuvred around a group that seemed to be pre-gaming before an office Christmas party.
"Can I talk about the weather?"
"You can talk about it, but I won't be listening."
