"I—" Harry swallowed, trying to get back his bearings. He had not even considered he could run into Snape—especially not literally. But before he even had the chance to utter another word, Snape had wordlessly started walking again.
For a second, Harry just stared, then he felt Hermione, who was still hidden under the invisibility cloak, nudge him. "Hey! Wait up!" Naturally, Snape ignored Harry and kept on walking, prompting Harry to start jogging after him.
"I said, wait up," Harry repeated when he'd reached Snape. Snape just pulled his collar higher and sped up, leaving Harry no choice but to march along, if he wanted to speak to him. "You're being ridiculous!"
"I'm not the one unable to take a hint."
"That's not giving a hint, that's fleeing," Harry noted, trying not to sound too out of breath.
Snape stopped suddenly and turned to scowl at Harry. "Fine. Say what you mean to say and get off my back. I have to go back to work."
"You just left work." Harry pointed at Snape's closed up shop.
Snape, in return, groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "What do you want?"
"I want to talk, obviously."
