(no subject)

It is utterly unbelievable how persistent my (male) friends can be when they want me to go out with them or come and join them for a round of games. Now that the only other girl in our circle has left for holidays they seem to need my female presence even more. I got three calls from them today. Usually I would happily join them, only that right now I'm studying for my last - and important - Old German exam. Wooohee. And my friends know. I told them at least a week ago that I had to study. And I told them every day ever since when they asked me to go out. And one of them called twice today. Twice. Argh! *headdesk* Honestly. And when I told them that I had to practise translations they said they could help me. ... Suuuure. They even went so far to tell me that Old German is used as a code in the German army (one of my friends is an officer-in-training) ... Errr ... of course, guys, of course.
So now I'm sitting at home and am busy with study old German grammar, spelling and literature. It's going quite okay.

By the way: Gas prices?! Hello?! 1.36€ (1.79$)for 1 litre?!
