A little update :D
Nov. 10th, 2006 01:46 pmA few days ago - on Tuesday, 7th of November - I turned 21. w00t! I already feel the wrinkles forming and my back is aching. No doubt I'll walk on a cane soon and I probably will shake my fist at all the youngsters running around on the streets.
I celebrated with my family on Tuesday and my mother cooked a fabulous meal! I was soooo full! My father gave me (or will give me) a new accu for my laptop, my grandparents gave me a shiny, stylish notebook and money, my aunt, uncle and cousin gave me body lotion, gummy bears and a stuff animal (a pig! Wheee!) and last but not least my mother and sister gave me a very stylish cardigan/pullover thing, earrings and a matching necklace from Accessorize <3, noodles that look like scorpions, a bit of money, a book about cheesecake *drools*,an little angle that I can fasten to my clothes, a cool handbag and a very pretty cake. :D
One friend from uni - I have know her for only a few weeks now - even noticed that it was my birthday and have me Amicelli (these crispy chocolate thingies). Wheee!
And now to the best thing: Des came online and we chatted and he sent me an online birthday card that was extremely sweet and made me go like *blush* *giggles*. :D
Tomorrow I'll have a little party with my friends, though I think one friend didn't really notice that I invited him, too <_< I'll have to check on that. I still need to choose the cocktails that we'll be making. ... What else? Oh yeah, I was at our salon today and got my hair done. The colour is now a warm brown with a slight red accent and some lighter highlights to make the whole thing more lively. :D And Des got my anniversary letter/present yesterday and he liked it, which made me very, very, very happy. :D Oh and: I've been having problems with constant dizziness in the past days. It doesn't stop and I find my world spinning all the time. Driving is now an interesting experience. Bah. Could someone please make it stop? I would like not to worry that I might fall over.
