Visit to the past
Feb. 11th, 2008 11:58 pmI am re-reading a fic I wrote in 2004/2005 ... it's het (OMG, I wrote HET), George/OFC (who is kinda Mary-Sueish ... though maybe not that bad seeing as she doesn't have major super-powers and will not save the world. She leaves that to Harry.) ... and the grammar ... it hurts so much!!! Okay, yes, I have read worse (like the stories I wrote in 6th grade and some stuff on the internet) and the style is quite good (though written in 2. person POV, seeing as I posted the whole thing on Quizilla), but the expressions I used sometimes are making me wince.
Can you believe I wrote this story for about a year? It's over 120,000 words long!!!

[EDIT] I just discovered that people still read the story. And some sent messages to me - last year. XP Man, I feel bad for not noticing, but I haven't been on Quizilla in ages and they don't have email notification when someone sends you a message. Booo.
[EDIT #2] Read through the messages people sent me and now I feel even worse. >.< They were all so sweet, telling me that they loved the series and asking why I stopped writing them. Oh dear.
