Poor Switzerland. :( They lost the game and with that their chance to get into the next round, even though they still have to play one more time.
I was actually torn between rooting for them (the Cup's taking place in their country (and Austria), after all) and Turkey. Because I actually like the Turkish team (and the keeper, my darling Beefcake). And my bet was on 1:0 for Switzerland (my friends and I have this bet open: we predicted how the games would end and the winner gets ice cream. I'm actually coming in last at the moment.). *sigh* If only Switzerland's first game had been better. They really are a good team and would deserve it. But I guess they were just terribly unlucky.
(Oh, honking concert outside. The Turks are celebrating.)
Ah well, tomorrow Germany will play against Croatia. I won't be able to go and see the game outside (meeeeh) though, because my exam's on Friday and I HAVE.TO.STUDY. I'll still switch on the TV, of course. :P And I expect us to win. *cheers*
