I had a dream last night of Snape as a symphony conductor. Today I felt compelled to see if anyone had ever written about that in a fan fic. You have totally exceeded my dream plus anything I was thinking about writing, and then some. Thank you for sharing your work where I could find and adore it.

Snape is just wonderfully in character here- moody, demanding, childishly and almost destructively selfish, but still capable of restraint, artistry. and serving a greater purpose than himself. I loved the little parallels drawn between canon and your au world too- ie Snape's Killing Curse expression, his robe-like coat, Neville as second oboe like he was the possible second in prophesy.

All in all, thoroughly engaging and well realized. Really enjoyed this one. Kudos!
