Firewhiskey Fics!

Haaave you seen that all [community profile] firewhiskeyfic fics have been posted? You really need to go check them out!

I haven't had the chance to read them yet, but I really want to. I started, but had to stop because I was giggling so hard that I almost woke my boyfriend, who's asleep next to me. XD So, yes, that should tell you this is another extremely fun round of fics!

Firewhiskey Fic

Alright, so, as some might know I live in Europe and it's already almost 9pm here. Which means for me that I'm getting a pre-Firewhiskey Fic buzz on, because if I start when everybody else does, I'll have to drink really fast to get drunk before I'm too tired to write.

Since I've just been to the Netherlands and brought back a ton of different beers, here's what I'll drink/have been drinking/am drinking before I switch to the classic (and all-time favourite) G&T:

- Jupiler - a pale ale, apparently from Belgium and not from the Netherlands, Wikipedia tells me. Strangely enough, I've only had it in the Netherlands. It's really nice to drink and similar to our local beer. 5,2% alcohol.
- Haags Hoogtepunt Blond - Google is hazy on this one and one entry even claims it's a "Beligan Ale", though it's clearly made in the Netherlands (Den Haag/The Hague, as the name suggests). It's rather hoppy and sweet and won't become my favourite. It has 6,5% alcohol.
- G&T with Bombay Sapphire East. Wikipedia this gin holds boltanicals that are supposed to counteract the sweetness of American tonic water. Is American tonic water sweet? My concotion tastes nice. It's now almost 11pm and I've switched to wearing pyjama pants.
-G&T with Ungava gin (couldn't find a link. It's yellow. Like pee.) Why can I still see spelling mistakes? This gin tastes nice - kinda spicy and herby, but not sharp.
- G&T with Monkey 47 Gin (from Germany and a favourite). The only Wikipedia entry I could find is in German, so never mind that. It tastes different than the Ungava, that's for sure. A little flowery, perhaps? Definitely light and nice.
- G&T with Sünner Gin - this'll be my last for the night. Wikipedia has no english Entry either. I can say it tastes differently than Monkey, but Monkey is lovelier---? This one has a note of ... i duhnno. Citris? #drunk

I'm currently sitting on my bed, working on my NaNo fic (my muse has left me hanging regarding my Minifest fic). Bedroom = comfy, but getting up to get a drink requires work. Will probably be chased out once the bf wants to go to sleep.

I'm a light weight apparently

I'm doing [livejournal.com profile] firewhiskeyfic and I haven't had much more than 1 glass of red wine and 2 gin & tonics and I'm already drunk enough to make my fic look... well, like it's looking. You need to join the fun!!! Otherwise, me getting drunk would be embarrassing and we wouldn't want that, would we?
