gin_tonicSo, time to post another update on my life, I guess.
Uni is quite stressful at the moment, but still fun. I have loads and loads of reading to do:
New German Literature: 16 pages (DinA4) till tomorrow. Done: None
Governing Pleasures (History): 12 pages(DinA4) till tomorrow. Done: 4
London Past & Present: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde: 256 pages till Friday. Done: 60
London Past & Present: The Cambridge Companion to Oscar Wilde: 59 pages (DinA4) till Friday. Done: 5
London Past & Present: Rock 'n' Roll by Tom Stoppard: 58 pages (DinA4) till Saturday. Done: None.
Creative Writing: Book should soon arrive. I hope. And I handed the assignment it yesterday. And I probably should read the text for the lecture on Thursday as well, but, heh ... we'll see about that.
Other than that I still have to finish the present for Des and mine 1 1/2 year anniversary and The Christmas Present, as well as the new chapter for TAE (nearly done!). And I mustn't forget the two Secret Santa stories that I have yet to write/finish. I would say story one is still missing 60% - 70% and the other ... well ... 100% ... *looks away*
And and and I mustn't forget my admin activities on HP Slash and Mercy House.
Des isn't well, but is getting better as far as I can tell. I could talk to him yesterday and he got a sneak preview of TAE's new chapter. I miss him very, very much. *sigh*
My father has watched me playing a bit of The Sims yesterday, where my sims Frankie and James were just having their wedding, and after asking me a couple of questions he said "You and your gays", chuckled and walked away. O.o I is scared.
And I successfully dodged people from school earlier today. Heh. Didn't want to talk to them. Later I met two different ones in the bus and we exchanged a friendly hallo. Honestly, now that all the guys have finished their services to the country and the girls finally decided to move their asses/finally got a place in their field of study the uni is swamped with them! People from school! EVERYWHERE!
I saw an Oxford dictionary in the Anglo-American History Library today, that was about 15 times as big as the one I have. And mine is already the big version. I was standing in front of it, made these weird grabbing/twitching hand-motions and drooled. XD I'm such a nerd!
And now back to reading! And the CSI NY/Miami crossover will be on tonight! And House M.D.! And Grey's Anatomy! And Desperate Housewives (that we will record on cassette)! And Gilmore Girls (that we will record, too)! :P *wanders off*
