Yay! Update! I'm quite happy, as you might notice, and not even studying will keep me from jumping inside.
Yesterday Des and I had our 1 1/2 year anniversary and it was very, very nice. :D ♥♥♥ This is the main reason why I'm happy. *dances*
So, uni stuff:
What I managed last week:
New German Literature: 4 out of 16
Governing Pleasures (History): 12 out of 12
London Past & Present: The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde: 125 out of 256
London Past & Present: The Cambridge Companion to Oscar Wilde: 59 out of 59
London Past & Present: Rock 'n' Roll by Tom Stoppard: 45 out of 58
Creative Writing: Book arrived.
Have a lot of stuff to do for this week, too, but I think I'll manage. And I might even get around to post my creative writing stuff, even though I'm pretty sure no-one will want to read that. TAE and Secret Santa No.1 are in the writing process.
My birthday will be in 8 days. Gah. On the day itself I'll celebrate with my family and with my friends on the weekend. I asked them what they wanted to do, because I'm really out of ideas (and I'm also not mixing circles of friends this time. It'll be only the ones that I know since school), and let them choose between a Kid's Party Revival and a eating-at-my-place-and-going-out-afterwards (out of ideas, just like I said). They said Kid's Party Revival is okay -- only that I know got to know that my best friend, who said it sounded great, told the others that she just wants the colourful cake and not the rest that is a part of kids' parties. Yeah, great, I love it when they can't tell me things to my face.

My mother wouldn't be too happy about that either. I don't suppose any of you has an idea what I could do?
