gin_tonicJust something quick before I start to work (waaah, I'm so tired. I want a coffee, but the coffee here in the office tastes bloody awful!):
My mother and I discussed Harry Potter and the DH and I told her that most of fandom doesn't like the epilogue. She asked me why and I told her about the Ginny issue and the epilogue being kinda empty and flat. Then she asked me what I didn't like about Harry/Ginny and I was like "Well ... my fandom and I, we ship Harry with men.", to which she said "But Harry isn't gay!" and I "Waaaaiiiit a minute. What about him being obsessed with Draco in book six?". *sigh* It proceeded like that and I tried to explain her what fandom was about and how we can ship Harry and other men and she ... she didn't understand. XD Not the part about being gay - she doesn't have a problem with that, but with Harry being gay. I think she is a secret Harry/Ginny shipper. xP I live with a Harry/Ginny shipper!
Enough with that. Need to work.
P.S.: Tomorrow's my nameday. Does anyone else celebrate their nameday?
