No worries. This is a busy time of year for all of us.
I've got kind of a weird question for you.
When I placed the bid I had plans to ask for some hot Drapery or Kingsley/Charlie/Severus. But now I've gotten involved in starting a Bingo game for a new HP community that is all about increasing commenting/rec'ing/general fan squeeing. (The rough beginnings of it are up at http://all-the-squee.livejournal.com/ and it describes some of what the comm will be doing.)
Would you be good with me offering a story of yours as a prize instead of asking for it myself? The guidelines for what the story could be would be the same ones that you posted on fandomaid.
It could be offered as a prize in a few different ways. It could be a raffle prize for completing every square of a bingo card. Or it could be a raffle prize for a more specific challenge if you have one in mind. The challenge could be something like rec'ng 10 creative fanworks from fests, challenges, and gift exchanges posting in November and December and 10 older creative fanworks. (I'm saying fanworks to be as broad as possible. Fanworks could be fic, art, meta, craft, poetry or anything else.) Or maybe you have a specific challenge in mind.)
If you say yes, that's wonderful. If you say no I'll still be excited about a story of yours. So no pressure.
Sorry for taking so long, but I thought the whole thing over and I'm good with your idea. :)
I very much have no clue as to in what way my fic can be offered as a price, but I trust your judgement here. As long as you keep me in the loop (because I'm terrible at checking LJ. Even when participating in fests.) I'm in.
Thank you so much! I'll check in with you before listing it as a prize and keep you updated all through. I've got an IJ account, so I can contact you there if that's better. I just can't figure out how one sends a message on IJ.
