Severus didn't forgive easily, nor did trust come naturally for him. But Harry had known this when he'd asked Severus out for a cup of tea and he was determined not to let this scare him off.

"Sorry," he said again, pulling Severus close. Severus nodded curtly and titled his head when Harry nudged his chin playfully with his nose. Their lips met tenderly at first, then Harry nipped at Severus' lip and deepened the kiss. Severus picked him up as if he weighted nothing – and after that Harry's brain shut up and his dick took over.

"Fuck, Severus, please!"

When they told Harry he was pregnant, he couldn't believe it. He and Severus had been trying for so long, had been disappointed so often, that he'd not even told Severus he was seeing the healers that day after work.

Dazedly, he entered their house and walked into the kitchen, where Severus was sitting next to cold dinner, frowning.

"You're late."

"I'm pregnant."

The news took a while to sink in and slowly Harry could see the emotions that he felt playing out on Severus' face. Then Severus jumped up and hugged Harry, gently and yet fierce. Dinner was forgotten.

Severus side-hugged Harry and pressed a kiss to his temple as they watched the twins play in the garden. They had grown so much in the four years since they were born. Four tumultuous, crazy, wonderful years.

He wasn't good at giving compliments or gifts, but his Harry understood – and squeezed his side gently back. Then Harry's hand wandered a bit lower.

"Out here? Really?"

Harry shot him a grin. "Why not?"

"Is that a promise for later?"

"You bet. You know that thing you said you wanted to try?"

Severus blushed and coughed. Harry's grin widened. "Happy anniversary, Sev."
