Harry wiped the fog off the window and looked outside at the snow-covered street. It looked pretty for the first time this year. The old fairy-lights next to him flickered again, and he gave the plug a little kick.
When the window fogged over again, he opened it to see the wintery world better. Harry breathed in deeply until the crisp air burned in his lungs. Christmastime was near again. He hoped it would turn out better than last year. When he looked up at the clear sky, Harry saw a falling star race by - and made a wish.
