Hermione's hand smacked him right in the face. Harry just blinked and said nothing, not even when she turned on her heel and walked off.
"What did you expect?" Ron asked, leaning against the doorframe.
"Dunno." Harry gently rubbed his smarting cheek. "Though I certainly deserved it."
"That you did." Ron pushed away from the door and stepped aside. "Come in."
Their house hadn't changed at all, but it felt different after not being here for months. Like he didn't quite belong here anymore. "So… how have you been?"
"Really? That's what you start with?"
"What else could I say?"
