Wheeee!

My sister flew to Majorca for a week today. I'm lonely now. Very lonely. You have to know that we are rarely apart from each other. I think the last time was at the beginning of this year for a 3-day school trip and before that they had a 10-day school trip last summer. And a few days last year around Easter, where she was in Scotland with a friend. Other than that we see each other every day. And now I have to wait till Tuesday and babysit Frankie, our budgie, because he would be lonely otherwise. *sigh*
I just saw Queer As Folk US (the first episode). To be honest, I'm a QAF UK fan, even though the American actors are cuter. Maybe apart from Nathan (Justin - US) who is a really adorable Brit and my age now. Hehe. Anyway, I compared US and UK QAF and so far the US version copied almost everything, down to the sex scene. Both are very hot sex scenes though. And I noticed two differences immediately. In the UK version Brian's (Stuart's - UK) baby son is named Alfred and in the US version he's named Gus. And the other thing is that in the US version Emmett is Mikey's (Vince's - UK) roommate - in the UK version Vince lives alone. Oh and the guy he's planning on having sex with quite at the beginning: In the UK version he's wearing some sort of corset so he can hide his beer belly and in the US version he's wearing something to make his butt look perfect and his dick bigger. Oh my. I could go on like that. Why did they change the names, by the way? Nathan sounds so much nice than Justin. And Vince sounds better than Mikey too. *sigh*
