I have a Trojan/Virus thing on my computer and I can barely do anything. Trying to find out what exactly is wrong and erase that thing from my harddrive, but I actually know shit about this stuff.
So, I will probably not be able to be in touch till I get to uni tomorrow.
Am extremely sad and angry (mainly at myself for downloading that bastard).

Date: 2008-10-19 06:58 pm (UTC)I know that one of my brothers uses Avira, but I've used AVG for five plus years now. It updates daily, scans your pc daily. You set the times. The pro version gives you a lot more room to manage things but the free version is what I've always used and it works perfect.
In it, there's an anti-virus, anti-spyware, e-mail scanner, and a resident shield which is basically a firewall. I have the latest version 8.0. Like I said, it's awesome. I've had only a few problems with it and that's my fault for being ignorant.
