Where Juniper is made to Gin

- Grandpa now out of hospital for the weekend (with a bit of a scare yesterday, when we had to go to the emergency room with him - he's okay, though, details might be TMI so I'll leave them out) He'll go back in on Tuesday to get a cardiac pacemaker. Release is planned for Thursday.
- Stressful week was stressful, but it will get better from now. Big presentation is done.
- We threw two of our friends a surprise party yesterday - both turned 30 this year and didn't celebrate, so we decided to organise everything for them. Party was a huge success and they were incredibly happy. Yay!
- On that note: I now have tons of leftover pizza and cake... and I'm trying to watch my calorie intake ATM. Uh-oh?


On more creative things:
- I just finished my entry for Halloween drabbles (on time! go me!)
- working on Holiday fics now. So far, it's going well, I think.
- NaNo is starting soon and I need to starting preparing

Life's crazy and busy and not always good these days, but I'm knocking on wood here that it'll get better. Starting wit hmy grandfather being in hospital right now (bit surprising to all of us - he was scheduled for physical rehab and during check-up they found irregular heart-rhythms or something; he's okay, though, and not all too keen on having to stay in hospital), to super stressful work days with clients that know no boundaries (as in the shitloads of work they push my way) and can't keep deadlines.

I can't find much energy to write, will try again tomorrow. Have I mentioned that I have a bursa inflammation? Not too impressed with that either.

Hi friends,

I'm back from my trip to Spain! It was lovely and very relaxing - once we had arrived. Before that, our plane had more than 40 hours delay (we didn't wait the whole time and booked an earlier flight instead). And now I've caught the cold my friends had during our holiday and am currently sitting at home instead of tackling the mountain of work waiting for me at the office. My colleagues sent me home after looking at my sniffling self for half a day. Ah well.
